Ali Halat is the owner and driving force behind Rush Salon, a South Calgary hair salon located in the community of Silverado. Since opening Rush Salon in 2013, Ali has been proudly serving clients in Calgary with a focus on exceptional service, high standards, ongoing education, and a welcoming salon experience.
With over 18 years in the hair industry, Ali’s passion for hair started at a young age. He grew up around the salon world and developed an early interest in the latest trends, styles, and techniques. After high school, he briefly began an apprenticeship as a heavy duty mechanic, but quickly realized his real passion was in the hair industry. From there, he leaned into the people around him who owned and worked in salons, enrolled in school, graduated, and began building the career that would eventually lead to Rush Salon.
For Ali, Rush Salon has always been about more than great hair. His goal was to create a salon where clients feel confident, cared for, and excited about their results, while also building a positive culture where stylists can grow, learn, and thrive.
